My Son Is My Stimulus And My Inspiration

Surely on some occasion you have heard a mother say phrases such as: “my son is my strength”, “it is for my son that I get up every morning, even if I don’t want to”, “my life makes sense thanks to my son ”, among many others. The message behind these maternal expressions is, essentially, the inspiration that comes from having a child.

Certainly, mothers find in their children a motivation, a stimulus, an inspiration, a breath of life. And it happens that many times, thanks to the mere presence of our children, we manage to feel full of a unique vitality.

Inspiration is a stimulus that not only gives vigor, enthusiasm and energy, but also motivates us to always move forward and transform ourselves into the best version of ourselves. 

This love, unlike others, does not diminish with the passage of time. Instead, it strengthens itself with a touch of magic that is unmatched by any other kind of affection. A mother’s love knows no bounds and finds its inspiration in that creature who came into the world from her womb.  

Every woman feeds on the warmth that the little one ignites in her heart. This heat strengthens, increases and amplifies all of our capabilities. It is  a fire that helps us overcome any obstacle and thanks to which nothing seems impossible  when it comes to thinking about the well-being of those who need us most.

This kind of love changes any woman, since it allows her to understand that the experience of unconditional love has many benefits on a personal level. In other words,  unconditional love – like that of a mother – gives an extremely constructive life experience. These are the aspects in which the benefits of this experience are highlighted:

• development of physical skills.
• strengthening of intellectual abilities.
• development of emotional and spiritual resources.

My son: my inspiration and source of energy

From a biological point of view, women find in their offspring a reason to strengthen themselves in all respects and thereby ensure the survival and well-being of their children. Neither more nor less. Obviously, this is not all, since the human being is also governed by the psychological and emotional component.

For any mother, her child is the “engine” she needs every day to overcome adversity. Fortunately, being strong and having the great responsibility to protect the life of another human being brings with it great happiness that gives us new (or renewed) hope. This is where a mother finds her greatest life inspiration.

Thanks to the love and inspiration that motherhood gives us, all efforts take on a much more rewarding meaning and our life becomes more enjoyable. This undoubtedly translates into well-being. Starting from this,  the absurdities diminish and life acquires meaning.

This does not mean that our life is perfect only thanks to the inspiration our children give us. No.  In fact, thanks to this inspiration we realize that we are human beings and, consequently, perfectible. This is the most powerful tool we can acquire. Perfection does not exist. Yet trying to be better, inspired by something as beautiful as motherhood, makes a lot of things easier for us.

We must not forget that in motherhood we must know how to be just, patient, honest and caring with ourselves. In this way we can count on a realistic, healthy basis on which to let inspiration work to facilitate our path.

The spark your child ignites in you makes you invincible

“An inspiration is what evokes something special in you. A hook that carries with it a great idea ”, says one of the many definitions with which scholars try to explain this word and what it implies.

This is really the definition of what a mother feels about her child. He is her inspiration because he evokes a special feeling in her. But a mother’s inspiration doesn’t bring with it a great idea but millions of ideas that enhance her abilities to stratospheric levels.

The inspiration that a child gives to his mother makes her particularly brilliant in creative processes, because that child ignites the spark necessary to spontaneously blossom thousands of ideas to keep her child safe, to solve any problem and to overcome any difficulty. .

Artists make the most of this divine spark called inspiration. They use this impulse that is given to them to create their own works and express themselves through them. Mothers do the same. They express their love in every breakfast they prepare, in every illness they cure, in every garment they wash, in every kiss on the forehead.

This love, as Isabel Allende says , transforms because it has to do with loving someone more than oneself. It has to do with being capable of anything, so that the child does not suffer at all, ever. Because every child lights an infinite fire in his mother that feeds every day with hugs, kisses, tears, pains, milk teeth, letters, drawings in the snow and even sleepless nights.
